A Small Cookbook: Recipes for Everyday Lifeby Harper Ouk5.1 (fri) - 5.17 (sun) 이번 전시는 하나의 작은 요리책을 떠올리게 합니다.실제 레시피를 담은 책이라기보다는,음식과 함께하는 시간 속 장면들을 담은 기록에 가깝습니다.작가에게 요리는 익숙한 일이지만, 동시에 중요한 의미를 지닙니다.부엌은 편안함을 느끼는 공간이자, 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있는 곳입니다.재료를 손질하고 완성된 요리를 담아내며음식을 맛있게 먹는 순간들은 다시 하루를 이어갈 힘이 됩니다.이러한 감각은 요리와 기물, 그리고 일상이 자연스럽게 어우러지는 mosi의 태도와도 맞닿아 있습니다.스스로를 돌본다는 것은 잘 먹는 일과도 이어집니다.우리가 음식을 어떻게 받아들이고, 어떤 감정으로 그것을 마주하는지를 살피는 과정 속에서 삶을 지탱하는 힘을 느낄 수 있습니다.이번 전시의 작품들은 일상 속 작은 기쁨과 그 안에서 이어지는 삶의 흐름을 담고 있습니다. This exhibition is imagined as a small cookbook not a literal book of recipes, but a collection of fragments drawn from everyday experiences around food.For the artist, cooking is something simple and ordinary, yet deeply important. The kitchen is a space of comfort a place to return to oneself, to feel grounded, even if only for a moment. Handling ingredients, spending time preparing a meal, or quietly eating these small gestures can, at certain moments, reconnect us with life. This sensibility naturally resonates with mosi, where food, objects, and living coexist closely.In this body of work, ingredients are not only something to be consumed, but are seen as objects and presences in their own right they carry weight and posture, like us, coming from nature, similar yet each uniquely their own. To care for oneself also includes the act of eating well. How we allow these to become part of the body, and with what emotions we chew, through these subtle observations, it becomes possible to sense the quiet forces that support us in continuing forward.Is living a fleeting feast?These works trace the quiet abundance and joy within the ordinary sensing the resonance between body and nature, allowing feelings to grow full, and continuing to live. [artist]Harper OukHarper Ouk은 대만 타이난을 기반으로 활동하고 있다.런던 킹스턴 대학교에서 일러스트레이션 석사 학위를 취득했으며,스페인 마드리드에서 약 3년 반 동안 거주하며 다양한 도시와 일상의 풍경 속에서 경험을 쌓으며 작가로서의 작업 세계를 발전시켜 왔다.그녀의 작업은 유화, 목탄 드로잉, 디지털 드로잉 등 다양한 매체를 아우르며, 최근에는 사진과 아트 디렉션으로까지 확장되고 있다.현실과 상상 사이의 경계를 탐구하는 그녀의 시각 언어는 차분하고 정제된 미감으로 표현된다.현재 일본 일러스트레이션 에이전시 Vision Track 소속으로 활동 중이며, UNIQLO, & Premium, URBAN RESEARCH, BAYCREW’S, 타이베이 시립미술관 등 다양한 글로벌 클라이언트와 협업해왔다.Instagram: @harper_ouk_
